Neoalgae was present at the first edition of the Rural Startup Awards held in Oviedo. A gala organized by the Spanish Startup Association and the Yellow agency. The Rural Startup Awards recognized Asturian companies that exemplify the smart transformation already underway in the rural world. The gala brought together more than 200 candidates specializing in three key sectors: Agrotech, Rural Tourism, and Sustainability.
Neoalgae, along with other startups, was present at the free Tech Espicha, which discussed the future of food. Neoalgae presented its colored olive oils:
Olive oil infused with the microalgae Dunaliella salina, with a high beta-carotene content,
Olive oil infused with the microalgae Tetraselmis chuii.
At the gala, Neoalgae also detailed the key research projects of the Impress project, which aims to address contemporary sustainability challenges facing the marine and freshwater sectors, as well as develop European Union Bioeconomy and Blue Growth strategies.
